826: Winners

This week we are saying congratulations to Dublin-based Grafton Architects who have won the 2020 Pritzker prize, the first two women to share what is regarded internationally as architecture’s highest honour.

Grafton Architects caught our attention a long time ago as they have some great ideas on how to make our world low-carbon at street level.  With Extinction Rebellion, increases in carbon tax, and the Green Party playing a significant part in our new government, we thought this  would be a great opportunity to replay our interview from last year with founder Yvonne Farrell, who spoke to our editor Niall Kitson.

With Extinction Rebellion and increases in carbon tax, we are more aware than ever of our role in stopping climate change. But what would a low-carbon world look like at street level? Dr Yvonne Farrell from Grafton Architects has some fantastic ideas they implement in their designs.
